Goodwill Southern California (GSC) was excited to open its new store in Colton. This store provides first-class merchandise at deeply discounted prices with the proceeds going to support Goodwill programs benefiting people with vocational disadvantages and disabilities, homeless, veterans, ex-offenders, and others who are vocationally disadvantaged, at-risk or in need. GSC spends 92 percent of its budget on programs that transform lives through the power of work.
Opening festivities included attendees from local government, media, chamber, business and community partners, as well as Goodwill staff. Community members enjoyed browsing through the vast selection of items during the Grand Opening celebration.
A special thanks to Mayor David Zamora for showing his support to GSC.
